<description>Don&#039;t bother with Eclipse. I posted this last year, and things have changed =) I&#039;d recommend Netbeans 6.5 now. It has excellent code-completion and debugging for PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, even in the same file. And it &quot;just works&quot;.
Have a look:

<description>Hello, I saw your PHP/Eclipse stuff online, and decided to write...

I am new to PHP and struggling to understand how to use Eclipse PDT&#039;s debugging functionality.

As a former MS Access/VBA developer, it was my experience that a good IDE can really speed up the learning process. (Using breakpoints, stepping through code, tracing variables, etc. can be VERY helpful.)

Unfortunately, Eclipse doesn&#039;t provide documentation, and any tutorials or vidieos I have found online have been lame!! (How is listening to somebody mumble to themselves - while they speed through things - supposed to be useful??)

If you have some time, it would be greatly appreciated if you could help me figure things out. (Hopefully with a little coaching I can figure the rest out myself.)

Thanks in advance,

Amy

P.S. I installed &quot;Eclipse_PDT_All-In-One_MacOSX-carbon_v2.0.0M2.tar.gz&quot; on my MacBook.</description>
