Which calendar are you expecting Arthur? If you click on the date/time on the GNOME panel the calendar drops down. The appointments you have set in Google's calendar will be in bold on the GNOME drop-down calendar.

Thank you - great tip!

My time is also messed up - 4 hrs ahead. I checked the time-zones in both - changed all kinds of settings in my clock - nothing seems to make a difference. This is still better than opening a browser and logging in to google calendar just to check if you are free on a day.

Michael - To get multiple calendars repeat the same command with the corresponding URLs.

BTW, Fedora path for evolution webcal is /usr/libexec/evolution-webcal

yes, it is possible to subscribe to more than one calendar; each one will display in Evolution "calendars" section with its own color

Having just set this up... two tips:
1) set the calendar preferences to UTC and make sure you set your location under "adjust date and time" if the times don't correspond to your google calendar times
2) yes, you can add >1 calendar (I just did)

One question: does this persist? If so, can I remove one/both of my calendars later? How?
